Port Liberty Cruise Terminal - gangway or bus to Ship (Summit)?

In looking at images of Cape Liberty Cruise Terminal, I'm not getting a feel for how it operates.

Do you go up the escalators and onto a gangway connected to the ship?

Does anyone have photos?

I did find this YouTube Video but it doesn't show the inside of the terminal.

In watching this video, I am wondering if there is just the one security car (person) checking in that long line of vehicles to the Cruise Terminal.

and...

Is that the parking garage to the far right of the frame, right next to the Terminal?

After you are cleared to board you do go up escalators and then onto a boarding ramp so you're no longer entering on the lowest deck level.

In the video the security car is just controlling the traffic flow of vehicle access to the dropoff area. It is not a security check. At :28 you can see the parking garage at the far right.
