Has anyone checked out Baha Mar on Cable Beach?

It looks like they just had their soft opening.

Saw commercial on TV. Curious to know if they will accommodate cruisers.

Watching their website to see if they are going to start offering day passes - we cruise in August. Some friends of ours visited Cable Beach in April and said that from what they could see from the beach, the facility is gorgeous.

We were in Nassau last Saturday. Our taxi driver said that parts of it were open but not the whole thing yet. He had taken some people to the casino. I'm glad to hear that they are finally opening! I hated seeing that huge place just sitting there.

Yes, one of the hotels and Casino opened in end of April. You can board the number 10 bus downtown and take it there for only one dollar each way. No need to take an expensive cab. The bus(s) run constantly with little to no wait.

The buses don't run at night. Taxi rates just went up on May 1, and I believe the current price to Cable Beach is $18 for 2 people.
