Where are the Coke Freestyle machines on the Grandeur of the Seas?

I know this ship has Coke Freestyle, and I haven't been on a ship with it yet. Are the machines placed throughout the ship (like at every bar or something)? Are there a lot of them? Do you need to use the cups they give you to activate the machine?

No, there are not many machines. Might be only 3. I know of two near Windjammer and one on the Centrum. Not sure if there is another. You must use the special cup.

I haven't been on Grandeur, so can't say specific locations for that ship, but:

1) You have to use the cups you get with the package for the machine to work.

2) There are not a lot of machines, Anthem I found 6, but 1 was almost never accessible - 2 in the Promenade, 2 in the Windjammer (which are only accessible during WJ hours), 1 in the Sportsplex, and 1 in the room where they did the Escape Room game, but that was almost always locked.

You can use the cup at any bar, but they just have the standard bar sodas.

Personally I really wish they'd add more machines, and service them more often. Seemed like half the time one or two machines were either down or almost completely empty

I have seen one at the starboard entrance to Windjammer. There may be one on the port side; we never enter from that side.

I remember one by LatteTudes on deck 6 along the Centrum.

Whoops! I did. Good catch. Just making sure everyone was on their toes.

There are 2 at the end on both sides of the Windjammer. There is 1 on deck 6, beside Ben and Jerry. It is one deck above the Customer Service desk. None of the machines were ever crowded on my 9 day cruise.

Ps...That Ben and Jerrys has lots of delicious desserts that are complimentary. Everyone thought these were a cost. Much better than the Windjammer and dining rooms.

Except on Grandeur, they are not red. (So don't look for red machines). They are silvery-goldish.

Add Seagram's Ginger Ale and Diet Ginger Ale to the list too.

The Coke-Cola web site lists an app that you can use to create a drink and then send it to the machine rather than use the menu. Does anyone know if this app works with any freestyle machine on any RCI ship?

No, there's no connectivity between your phone and the machines on the ship.

This is my first cruise in YEARS. Hate to sound "green", but with a purchase of the soda package do you need the special cups to get a soda at ALL, or just from the special machines. I can't imagine my 11 year old bringing her cup to the dining room or ashore. If I buy the soda package and I order a coke for her at the bar without the "souvenir cup" does that mean I have to pay for it? Or does my pre paid package kick in?

You only need the special cup to use the Freestyle machines. Your SeaPass card will get you soda from your soda package (albeit a much reduced selection) at bars and restaurants.
