Ugh!!! I know, another Beverage Package Question!!!!

Hi Everyone!!

Planning on booking my First MSC Cruise in the Caribbean for 2018. I have searched high and low for listing of what is included in the Classic versus the Premium.

We are planning on booking an Aurea Balcony and as I understand it , this includes the Classic Beverage, correct?

It is also my understanding that we are not able to upgrade to premium, correct?

Any feedback and tips are welcomed!!

We are hearing that that is changing and you will be able to upgrade per our TA conversation with MSC, just no idea when this will happen.

We had drinks package in Feb included in our package and could have upgraded to premium on board . However the classic drink package in the Caribbean is so good we didn't feel the need too

We had an Aurea suite and were able to upgrade onboard, but we weren't in the Caribbean.

In fact, MSC have recently begun having the crew onboard at embarkation bombard people selling and upselling drinks packages, including at the elevators as you are trying to get to your cabin.

Should you be able to upgrade, it'll cost $16 pppd + 15% service charge ($61 premium -$45 classic).
