PV Krystal resort, day use fee...?

If we just walk down to the Krystal from the ship, are they charging a day use fee these days.....would like to lie around their pools for a while...thanks

It used to be free but now it is $5. Still totally worth it!

What does their day use include? Just use of the pools?

It is $5 US but include a nothing but chairs, pool, and beach. Also, they have a cashless system. Make sure your CC doesn't charge international fees. It was at least a mile walk all the way to their beach from the port. And we were confused in finding it bc there is a Krystal Conference Center first. We didn't stay. I couldn't get a hold of my card company from Mexico.

We were there on 11/23 and they took cash. We never use our credit cards in Mexico.

They do want new, unblemished bills though. One of the five's we gave them was too old looking so they asked for a different one. Also, when we settled our lunch/drinks tab, they wanted a different 20 dollar bill than the one we gave them.:eek:

Before we go again in April, I'm going to the bank to get new bills in all denominations just to be safe.:D
