Dartmoordan Posted January 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2017 I wonder if anyone can help me, we are looking at a canary Island cruise in April. We have been offered a terrace balcony but are not sure how this works does this mean that your balcony is actually the deck or is there a little space railing or something between the balcony and the deck? Any help appreciated.:confused:
Malch_uk Posted January 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2017 The "terrace" is raised up a few inches from the deck and fenced around, but people will be constantly walking past in fine weather.
tring Posted January 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2017 They are as previous answer. If you like privacy it would not work, but some people seem to like them as they can exchange smiles or the odd word with people who are passing by - like sitting on prom deck really, but you do have your own space and seats. Dartmoordan Posted January 20, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted January 20, 2017 Thank you for your replies I do like a bot of privacy especially in the morning when having my early morning cuppa.Think we'll wait and see if a balcony comes up.
stephen@stoneyard.co.uk Posted February 10, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2017 Here is a great review of Boudicca. There is a good photograph of the terrace balconies. It is taken at night but is very clear. The author has some very good reviews with photographs. http://www.cruisecotterill.com/boudicca-dec-15.html Best wishes, Stephen.
