We have so many sea days on our next 7night. Thought it would be fun to share what people enjoy doing on any line. For me Royal(oasis class) would be watching my son zipline (did it once myself! But now I'm a watcher) Celebrity -mixology class once and behind the scenes kitchen tour and bingo and Disney- watching my son interact with any character.

How do you spend your days at sea?

Great thread!

I love sea days! On the NCL -away ships we love to do the ropes course and the slides with our kids, bingo and the other silly games, reading by the pool and lots of drinks! I always aim to go to the gym but that usually doesn't pan out. Anything that looks fun on the dailies we give it a shot!

On our next cruise we only have two sea days and I have to admit I'm a little bummed. We will do do just a half day on the private island so we get more ship time!

On princess, it's always hard for me to decide what not to do. I love the games such as the egg Drop, paper airplane contest, putting contest, ring toss. And then there's always the casino. The various talks about our destinations. Afternoon tea. Of course I can always do laundry. LOL LOL and sitting on my balcony watching the world go by.

It doesn't matter what ship, I sit in a semi-shaded place on deck (or on my balcony, if I'm lucky), read & watch the sea!

I've done it for 1 sea day(NOT enough) to 5-6 consecutive sea days (not too many!). I go for the itinerary & the sea. The ship is simply a means to that end. :)

Relaxed Breakfast, then a trivia session followed by some quite time (relaxing, reading, watch a movie) Lunch and then a wine tasting in the afternoon. If there is time a siesta or another movie. Pre dinner cocktails/drinks.

Any ship I'm on: If nice weather, walk around top deck or go to gym, treadmill for minimum 2-3 miles. Listen to my audio book poolside . Also get a massage that day. Very relaxing. .

Pinching myself that I'm really there living the lifestyle of the rich and the famous! Haha.

No seriously though, I spend my sea days enjoying the company of new friends (though a solo traveller - I'm outgoing and meet lots of lovely people). After a while I will do a bit of sunbaking, read on the top deck, enjoy watching the activities round the pool or get involved in something not too strenuous myself. Exercising my glass arm is a great pastime!

Sun Princess.

I love to establish a routine on board. Sea days make this very easy to do. We have breakfast in our cabin, walk the main deck, check out the library, check email, go for a swim, take a nap, dress and go to dinner... come back after wards and check international news on tv ... inbetween we watch the sea. check out passing ships...

I had to laugh a little at that, because my last cruise had 15 sea days and my next one has 12. I love sea days.

My typical sea day "routine" is relaxing on deck in a lounger with a book or audiobook, and occasionally a sauna or listening to one of the lecturers. Sometimes a movie in the afternoon, and usually a visit to the library. Sometimes a nap. Or two.

We start our day sunbathing on deck- so nice after a long winter.

We like to go to the wine tastings and/or the teas in the afternoons.

We like the different music choices- go to karaoke or a sing along bar.

There is so much to choose from. Have been on Carnival, HAL, Princess. and RCI.

Walking promenade deck laps on any of the Princess Grand Class ships. These have a full wrap-around promenade, where you go up a flight of stairs at the front of the ship, walk around admiring the view, then down a flight on the other side. Love those ocean laps looking out to sea!
