Casino Offer Code

I received a offer in the mail today regarding a casino offer. It says to call and mention an offer code. Do you know if there is anyway I can look this up online? Also, does this have to be booked only through Princess. Or can I use this offer with a TA?

Don't know what you mean by "look up online" :confused:

 

You can go to the Princess website and do test bookings entering the code to see if the cruises you are interested in are eligible for the casino discount.

 

Or you can call your TA and have them check for you. Of course you can book through them.

Btw.. Was MUCH MUCH easier before when they attached the casino rate to your CC number so when you checked online your rate appeared.. But alas to Princess it's the 21 century no more, but rather back to circa 1970's and the telephone only

 

Come on Princess I can only assume you actually want us all to book or why would send out this notices in the first place , so WHY NOT make easiler as before and enable us to book this rate online ?????????????

I loved being able to check the pricing online so I could do some comparisons....as you mention, no longer possible.

Anyway, one of the Princess reps had stated that people were abusing it by booking family members and friends under this rate. Not sure why that would hold any water. You, as the member with the discount, still has to be on a cruise with that other passenger. And ... calling in doesn't make that ineligible for the rate ... :confused:

Agree with you that their explanation makes no sense. What triggered the reduction in price online was your CC#, so there's no way that you could book this offer for additional cabins. I didn't get the mail offer but the last time I checked with my TA the % off was still in place, I just need to go through her or Princess to find out if the discount is applicable to the cruises we choose. It's more of a headache that way, but it is one more example of Princess going backwards from a technological perspective. Converting from email to fax or snail mail requests for stockholder OBC is another example.

My husband got the previous casino offer but hasn't received anything in the mail about a new one. Those of you who have received the brochure offer, did you also get the one that just ended? I'm wondering if we won't get this one since we got the last one.

I received a brochure yesterday with Casino rates as well, plus $25 Casino cash. It says the code is CASINO, and can be used by your TA or calling Princess.

Is there a percentage off rate chart on the flyer? On the email from months ago, it was 35% off inside, 30% oceanview, 25% off balcony, etc. Just wondering how the new offer compares to some of our old ones.

Are we sure the previous casino offer is no longer valid? I received it as an email with no code. I was able to book the rate at the end of May. The rate seems to be capacity controlled , as it is not good on every cruise.

I booked a Japan cruise for April 2018 on May 31, and when I asked about the casino rate the Princess rep told me that it was expiring that day. She also said it wasn't applicable to the new cruise because it was too far in the future.

Not necessarily. My code that expired May 31st was from last November. Unfortunately the only way to find out is to call.

I completely agree. It was so much better when you could check the prices online yourself.

I would sooooo like to get one of these offers!!!

 

I made sure to make use of the casino (slots) on our last cruise. I don't really like to gamble as I'm pretty much a sure-fire loser. I did manage to come out about $40 ahead somehow and was hopeful that a bit of action in the casino might generate one of these offers.

If you gamble it never hurts to have your TA check to see if your captains circle number qualifies for the discount. The first time I qualified I had no idea...I never got the offer in the mail but when I did my mock booking Princess Website gave me the discount- I wasn't sure what was going on... My TA checked and sure enough I was marked for the casino discount.

 

Now I always have her double check when she books me just in case the notice has gotten lost in the mail or filtered out by spam. Never hurts to ask!

I booked a Mar 2018 cruise and called in to get CASINO rate,. Rep called casino dept who said it was too far out but the offer would very likely be extended - again - and we'd get the discount.

 

for non-prime itineraries it's 35% off insides, 30% off OV, 25% off balconies and 15% off suites. For Alaska, Europe. and Japan it's 10% less each.

Those are the exact % off that were shown on the flyer I received in the mail today. I booked an upcoming 4-night coastal with it, and it was combinable with the current "gratuities included" offer, in my case anyway. They still have to be booked by phone or via TA only. The special rate did NOT show up in my Princess account online.

 

Previous threads have indicated that not all casino players receive the same offer--some are better than others. I was once thrilled to get an offer for a free inside cabin, until I heard another passenger say she got a free balcony that cruise. So YMMV.

Why does someone get a casino offer? I play a little slots, but am not a "high roller." Are those who make large donations to the casino the ones who get cheaper or free cabins??

 

If not, how can I get an offer? :confused:

It helps if when playing the slots you keep your cruise card inserted in the machine while playing so that it can keep track of all of your time on the machines.
