Room service breakfast

We are new to Fred Olsen and are booked on the Boudicca this September.

I see from the online info that room service is available 10 am to 10 pm. The menu doesn't include breakfast items. Is there a breakfast room service earlier than 10 am?

Yes. There are cards to fill in and hang on your door handle the night before. You can choose half hourly time slots between (about 7am) and I think 10.00am. We find the breakfast usually arrives at the beginning of the time slot, but you cannot rely on that of course.

You have a choice of things like fruit juices, cereal, yogurt, tea or coffee and some rolls and pastries are delivered as well, with jam/butter if you want. No hot breakfast or cold meats/cheeses are available then. There is no charge.

As the breakfast finishes by 10am at the latest in the restaurants, we sometimes order room service - wake up to receive the tray, then go back to sleep for a while so we can have a later breakfast when we wake up.
