Formal nights on Britannia

We will be on Britannia in September for our first ever cruise and have a couple of questions about formal nights. Are they more likely to be on sea days? Do they include speciality restaurants? Also, when are they likely to be announced?

Yes, usually on sea days

Yes they include the speciality restaurants except the beach house. On Britannia the glass house is closed for meals during the captains reception as it occupies the atrium.

ps - the glass house used to be informal giving a nice alternative for formal night but P&O have recently made it formal, in my opinion a bad business decision. They have changed it into a restaurant anyway, moving away from the excellent original concept of a bar serving food.
