Pullmantur Sovereign

Travelled with the Sovereign. A quite old vessel that needs some renovation. My critic relates only to the ship operator. The organiser of this gay cruise prevented a lot a feeling of disappointment among the guests. Fitness, Sport and Wellness was just fine. Seated restaurant: service good, nice wines for little money, the food average (meat good, fish always overcooked). Buffet restaurant food and wine ok but service poor. Table were cleared late and often not cleaned. For the free of charge soft drinks and water, you had to queue - sometimes long. In general the staff working in the bar area were extremely slow. Room service in general good. The worst however was the reception. My toilet was blocked a whole night and until the afternoon of the next day despite endless requests for a repair. Only after the toilet was flooding over and I had to call the general organiser of the cruise, the reception staff bothered to give the craftsman a call. Unfortunately, many other passengers had the same outrageous expierence. These guys just need to be fired. The staff at the bar and open restaurant needs urgently a training.
