Going on train from Budapest to Prague

Whats it like to go on train from Budapest to Prague? Is there nice things to see? It will be beginning of November, so how cold will it be for us Aussies?:

We did this about 4 years ago on our own. Do not remember much scenery. Highly recommend first class with reserved seat. We had seat assignments in second class and at the first stop outside Budapest hundreds of young people from a music concert got on and there was no room to move in the aisles. At the border between Hungary and The Czech Republic the crew changes and there was a delay at the border.

It will be beginning of November, so how cold will it be for us Aussies?:

Trip Advisor forum is a good source of information on land transport and cities. In 2014 we chose bus (Student Agency) rather than train and travelled very comfortably on the Prague-Budapest route. Airline reclining seats and free wifi. We didn't try the food and drinks for sale on board Our trip was only half-way Prague-Brno and return.

The bus stations were above ground and easier to access with luggage than train platforms.

Did this two years ago. Good trip. Did arrive Prague 45 mins late. Reserve First Class 60 days out via the Czech website. We were in a 6-person cabin with some interesting people, including a American mother with her 17 y/o son. Comfortable. The cars are heated.
