going on the 18th june from Newcastle anyone interested in getting a taxie into inverness for the day

We were on the Boudicca last month sailing into Invergorden. What we did was to get the express bus from Invergorden to Inverness at a cost of £11 each [The ticket gives all day travel around parts of Inverness - it will give you travel to Loch Ness but not return because you need to use a different company for that]. The bus runs from near to where the shuttle drops off if you are on the berth used by Boudicca, the other berths are walking distance from the High Street and there is no shuttle. Because of the number of cruise passengers wanting to get to Inverness the bus company runs many extra services on the day, most of which go direct to Inverness. On the 26 June Queen Elizabeth is also in port which will increase traffic.

We are also on this cruise on Balmoral but have already booked the excursion which includes a cruise on Loch Ness [which we didn't get to do last cruise.]

Don't blame you, especially as we sail at 5pm not 8pm as we did on the Boudicca cruise - it does give peace of mind.
