Private tour guides in Tallin, Estonia?

Can anyone recommend tour guides they have used in Tallin, one I am looking at is a company called Saku?

Walking in Talinn is easy - and many people there speak excellent English. Beware of pickpockets as always - but tour guide groups are not immune from that problem. McD by the old gate has free Wi-Fi, but you need a code for their restroom <g>. They do have hop-on buses if you wish to avoid a small hill, but there are many locals who are pleased to get a chance to talk with foreigners who do not try to speak Russian.

I decided to book with Saku, so will let you know how it goes.
Have you done your tour with Saku yet? We are going in August and considering contacting them and am interested on how it went.

Thank you for the information!

We found Tallinn very easy to walk around and see without a tour guide, but we did use a tour company called 'Alla tours' for Stockholm and St Petersburg and they were excellent. Booked online and they used small mini buses with only 12 people on.

We just got back from a 14 night cruise to the Baltic. In Tallinn, we used Saku and had a fabulous tour. If you use them, ask for Kristel to be your guide. She is delightful and showed us a lot but also allowed us to linger when we wanted. I include a lunch in the old town section and it was fantastic. Highly highly recommend Saku.

We took the "free walking tour" - and it was excellent. [Free, but a tip is highly recommended.] The guide was great and really gave us a good tour with lots of good information. Details are in my review (see link in signature - the Tallinn portion probably begins around page 8 or 9)

We also did Tallin on our own, but friends of ours did one of the free walking tours and said it was very good.

Either look on CC or Tripadvisor plenty of info.

We did the free walking tour this week and really enjoyed it. We had a young female guide who was friendly and informative.

We used TJ Tours in July and it was great. Hanna, the guide, spoke excellent English, had excellent information, managed the group well, moved us along so we went to the overlook, which he said becomes very crowded later in the morning, right away and we had plenty of viewing space. He was very patient with an older couple who had some difficulty. Pretty much all the walking is on cobblestones, so good walking shoes are a must.
