Short answer: yes. If you check-in using NEXUS as your identification, you should be issued boarding passes with TSA Pre-Check which should allow you to bypass some of the requirements (no need to remove belt or shoes or light jacket, etc). Generally this line is also shorter and moves very quickly.

Make sure you have supplied the airline with your "Trusted Traveler" number from your NEXUS Card to be considered for TSA Per Check.

Thank you for this information. We just got Nexus cards and spent some time online tonight updating our airline profiles to include our new Nexus numbers. :)

Good to know. We just got our Nexus cards yesterday. We will have to update our reservations too.

Thanks for the info! I've had Nexus for 6 years and didn't know to do that! I went onto SW site tonight and inserted all of our Trusted Traveler Numbers!

Update: It is not enough to add your Known Traveler Number to your airline profile. If you have pre-existing reservations you must call and have them add the number to each of those reservations. Going forward the number will be included on future reservations. At least this is how I had to do it with Southwest Airlines.
