... It would be a benefit to add a laundry to each deck. I think they are located on every other deck right now. Correct me if I am wrong. ...
Hi DDBINK1,

The six laundries are located on decks 4 (forward), 5 (aft), 6 (aft), 8 (aft), 10 (forward), 11 (forward)

(so three located forward & three aft).

So new laundries would need to be provided on decks 9 and 12 (and 13).

Often I have found it more convenient (when in a cabin near the bow or stern) to use the laundry one or two decks above or below me (esp when checking on the progress of my wash), rather than walk to the far end of ship (phew!) to use the one located on "my" deck.

Best wishes :)

You're right, of course. I thought that I remembered that there were laundries on 10 and 11, but when I went to ask.cunard.com just to make sure, it said:

Launderettes can be found in the following locations:

Queen Elizabeth & Queen Victoria - Decks 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Queen Mary 2 - Decks 4, 5, 6, 8

It seems that the Voyage Personaliser isn't the only Cunard site that needs attention!

You're right Thaxted!

In the UK brochures, on the deck plans, the Deck 11 Laundry hasn't been shown for several years (but it is still there in reality, I checked!)... but the "Glass Floor" in the Kings Court, removed I think around 2005, is still shown as a feature (!!!)...

Mind you, given that these plans are amended/copied by some know-it-all wiz-kid from head-office, who doubtless has never set foot on board any ship, we should be grateful that the pointy and blunt bits are shown at the correct ends  .

Best wishes and happy sailings :)
