Special dietary needs

Tried doing a search on this but was not able to do so for some reason.

Am well aware that O can address a dietary restriction but wondered how it turned out. DH now has a strict Low sodium restriction and we were wondering how this may affect the dining (other than the obvious of course). Was it really bland, or do the chefs season appropriately? We have 2 upcoming cruises on Riveria and really need to follow Doc's stern warning.

Saw this post on another thread from "LHT28"

They are very accommodating

If you notify them well ahead (like now) they will give your DH menus the night before to submit to the kitchen so his will meals will be prepared without the ingredients or you can just ask the waiter to make sure there is no offending ingredients in his order

I usually get the low sodium or sodium free items this way....

When the waiter takes the orders I just let him know I have a special meal & my cabin number so my food is ready & served along with the rest of the table
