Shared Cocktail Party ~ typical day & time

Having a hard time finding information about Carnival's shared cocktail party and am wondering anyone might be able to answer a couple of questions...

Our group doing the 1 hour shared cocktail party on the 3 night Inspiration cruise. Carnival says they will send an invitation to each cabin, but cannot give me an idea of when. Before I assume it will occur on the sea day, thought I'd check here.....

Anyone have experience with this? I have one as well with about 30 people and would like to have it as soon as possible hopefully on the first sea day evening.

They used to make it very affordable (about $ 12) with any choice of drink but now they have doubled price, limit number of drinks offered and tell you when it will be.

As a result not as many of these as before.

We have a free one. Open bar. CCL can't tell me yet when it will be but will be scheduled by the ship. I read where someone said theirs was on the last day. I would take some other offer if that's the case. I had a choice and I chose the free cocktail party.
