Upper/Lower Berths???

PACU

Recommended Posts

a berth is a bed-

depending on the category-- and how many people are being booked into a cabin will determine the berths.

ya have three people in there-- you get an upper bed OR a convertable sofa bed.

here is pics of upper beds

it gets put away during the day and bought out at night

So if I have a choice between 1 lower berth or 2 lower berths when choosing a room that means there will be 1-2 beds in the room?? Not bunks??

you have a limited choice when booking a cabin.

If booking for two people majorioty of cabins will have two beds placed on the floor and are pushed together or kept seperate depending on the situation.

cabins that hold 2 people do not have upper berths or have a convertible sofa.

Now carnival has a cabin that is a 1A that has one bed on the floor and an upper bed- these are the cheapest cabins available. Most solo cruisers use these cabins or a family that want extra cabin space for their kids. (these cabins also only hold 2 people.
