Waitlisted Excursions

How many of your waitlisted excursions have actually been made available either pre sailing or once onboard? All our Alaska choices are waitlisted.

Our trips were Cape Town to Singpore, and Lisbon to Cape Town. Both cruises our waitlisted tours were ticketed. They did a great job seeing that we had our tour.

We were waitlisted on 3 excursions.

When we boarded...there were confirmed tickets for all of them waiting in our cabin.

We booked last minute with an internet TA

When I found out the excursions were filled, I called Regent direct.

Got to give them a lot of credit. Most other cruise lines would have told me to go talk to my booking agent but they didn't. They were extremely helpful and went day by day asking me what I might be interested. They then put me on a a wait list for the one I chose. They didn't ask me for a second choice. Perhaps they knew I would get the ones I wanted (?)

Yes, then if/when the wait list clears Regent will ask which excursion you wish to finally confirm; this may not be until you are on board

I don't even have a chance to get on a wait list

It just says check with destination services when you board. That's probably not going to help:(:(

Or call Regent and ask the person you speak to what the situation is.

Have you tried calling the Regent office?

It appears that Regent may have disabled the 'wait-list' option that used to be available on the website
