Cruise Director

We are booked to sail on the Explorer from LA to Miami through the Panama Canal in January 2017. Can anybody tell me who the Cruise Director will be?

I think that it is a little too far out to know. Ray Solaire will be the CD on the Explorer beginning next month. CD's have four month contracts. There have been a lot of changes lately - a new CD, a former CD that returned to Regent (who is great) and one that transferred from Oceania (Margaret). It wouldn't surprise me if Lorraine moved to the Explorer since she has been with Regent for so long...... but that is just a guess (I do know that Jamie and Dana will be on the Navigator in January for the World Cruise).

Last I heard John Barron was scheduled to be on the Explorer during Sept-January. I didn't hear exact dates and things can often change. Too far in advance to know anything definitive.

We are on the Navigator. Tonight John announced that he will be leaving the Navigator on Saturday and Joining the Explorer in two months time. Great news for us as we will be on the Explorer in December and John is a great Cruise Director.

I wish they'd try to bring back Paul Reynolds as CD! He and Franck Galzy as GM make for a very happy ship!
