If you skip the private complimentry event, is the dining room open?

We may skip the event on our upcoming cruise, to stay out in town longer. Is the dining room still open when the ship sponsors one of these events off-ship?

Not sure about the dining room, but Candles was open on our cruise.

I would say YES, not everyone will participate in the event.

On our Tahiti cruise last week, the people who did not want to go to the event were told their only option was to order from room service. So maybe it depends on the ship and/or the itinerary.

And there's nothing wrong with room service for one meal. They need to deliver to your cabin, but once you have it there's nothing to prevent you from taking it up on deck if the weather is nice.
