Virgin Gorda Baths: Can non-swimmers participate here?

I have read reviews here, and on Trip Advisor. I've also viewed numerous You Tube videos. I still can't fully determine if a non-swimmer can go through the "caves" at Virgin Gorda, and enjoy the baths and beaches. I am, of course, aware that a non-swimmer could not snorkel. But could they make the passage through the boulder/caves without being in water over their heads? Help, please, from anyone who has done this. Thanks!

We went last fall and had a great time. You will have no problem as the water through the hike is only about knee high and at the end where the beach is, there are plenty of shallow areas to hang out.
