Cruise port stop.

We took a taxi to Baha Mar to go to the casino. Sorry I cannot remember the price of the taxi. It was very easy to get a taxi from the Baha Mar to our next stop.

I loved it. It's a beautiful resort from what we could see.

The casino was rather large with a good variety of slots to play. We all walked out either even with our money or ahead a little bit. None of us tried to order alcoholic beverages but coke was complimentary. I asked for a bottle of water but they only had tap, I didn't like the taste of it.

Ate at the Swimming Pig, it was good food. Their iced tea was good.

I will definetly visit this casino if in Nassau again.

Interesting thing, after this casino my mom wanted to visit the casino at Atlantis, so we took a taxi there. The casino at Atlantis felt really small and drab after the Baha Mar.

Drinks are complimentary at Baha Mar if gambling. I've stayed at the hotel a couple times already.

They don't use good liquor, but that's anywhere with complimentary drinks. You could try asking if you prefer something better.

Unless they have had a huge uptick in the last couple of months, it's still very new and very empty - but beautiful and worth checking out. It's the largest casino in the Caribbean.

They don't always check cards to get out on the pool area. If there is a security guy, just go through Churchills if it's open. There is a way around it. Or just tell him you are wanting to go eat at the outdoor restaurant. Definitely walk the property, it's ridiculously stunning.

I would avoid the Swimming Pig. It's simply not that good and VERY expensive. The food at the outdoor restaurant is substantially better for the money, and that's an understatement. Plus, the view and ambiance is so much better outside compared to a run of the mill indoor pub with no windows. There is also a hidden food truck out by the pier with affordable options that's pretty good.

Depending on what you are up to, there is an AMAZING daiq shaq in front of the Melia. About a 10 minute walk from Baha Mar through the west parking lot. Best daiquiris around, real fresh fruit, no mixes. Very "local".
