Photos and internet question

Recommended Posts

Is it easy to get access to a computer on the ship with the internet package? What are the internet packages and what would you recommend for checking in once a day (11 day cruise)? Do any of the islands have free wifi and if so where?

Also, I have a question about photos/videos... will the ship have any way of backing up photos either at the photo store or can the photos and videos be copied from sd card to flash drive on the ship computers (without eating up too many minutes... or would this even use minutes if not using an internet browser?)

We found that the computer room was virtually empty. We used an iPad but the recommendation is that simply for emails you can compose them while not connected to the internet and when you connect simply download anything, send the drafts and then get out of the internet. If you do this you won't spent a lot of minutes on line. Obviously if you read each of your incoming emails while the internet is connected you can eat up minutes.

Finding free wifi is tough.
