Temple of Poseidon and Beach from Piraeus

Thinking of booking this trip as we don't fancy walking round Athens in the August heat and from memory Piraeus isn't the best of places to spend a day.

Anyone been on this trip who could provide some feedback or have any alternative suggestions please?

Could have been some help as we are on board Oceana at the moment and had this trip booked but P&O cancelled it due to insufficient demand. Hope you have better luck than we did

We did this trip last year. I would recommend it. I had a 15 year old and 9 year old with me too and they both enjoyed it.

I have done this trip; it's about an hour by bus and the temple is interesting; we had a good guide. It's certainly a LOT cooler than Athens or Pireus. I would recommend it; I think we got some Greek refershments before heading back to the ship. Seem to remember ouzo, cold water and little meze or snacks.
