Quality if snorkel gear

Can anyone tell me the quality if the snorkel gear? Are they dry top snorkels? Trying to decide if it's worth it to bring my own, but I'd like to save the space in my bag of PGs gear is nice.

Their snorkel equipment is adequate, but not great. They are not dry snorkels (unless they recently changed). Given the amount of use, the condition is what one would expect. We have always taken our own masks and dry snorkels, and use the fins, vest, and carry bag from the ship. If your cruise is taking you to Ta'haha, be sure to do the coral garden drift snorkel excursion...just amazing!

21 trips .... we do the same, bring our own mask and dry snorkel and then use fins and bag from the ship.

Next month will be our 6th time doing the drift snorkel on Tahaa ;)

We will bring our snorkels, masks and fins but wondering about a snorkel vest - will PG provide those? How about a carry bag for all of our stuff and towels?

Well the drift snorkel must be excellent! I was torn between doing the drift snorkel excursion and just spending the day on the motu since we'll be snorkeling several other places.
