Embarkation Day advice

Hello everyone! Once you arrive at the port and get checked in, is there a guest service area to see if by 'rare chance' a once booked CC cabana somehow miraculously became available? Also, if you have any other embarkation day advice to share I'd love to hear it! :)

Check at the Port Adventures desk to see if there is one available or a wait list started.

Also available on embarkation day - tickets for Princess Gathering; Anna & Elsa meet & greet; Character Breakfast (if your cruise has one). Check the Navigator for where/when these are distributed.

The Welcome Aboard Navigator is available in the terminal so you can read it while standing in line or waiting to board. You can also get multiple copies (one per person) if you wish and can mark it up so you don't miss anything.

IF a cabana has opened up or if they are keeping a wait list, that will be at Port Adventures. Princess/character tickets will be either at Port Adventures or at Guest Services. Dining changes will be in one of the restaurants (check Navigator for which one).

We play "divide and conquer" by sending an adult to each place that needs to be covered and establishing a meet up place (cabin? a lounge if cabins not open yet?) Of course in order to do this, the other adult(s) must know exactly what they are supposed to do! Depending on what time you board, either go to lunch or do the "errands" first. Then do the other. By then, cabins should be open and you can drop your stuff and start having fun.

Also, check the Navigator to determine whether they are giving a 50mb internet package free if you sign up before midnight on embarkation day. If it's free, get it! Even if you don't use it, it is there should you need it. And on a short cruise, this may be enough for the entire cruise if all you do is check e-mail occasionally.
