Any new updates on the Victory?

I have looked under the Victory link to see if any new updates on how far along they are with updated the rooms. Anyone sailed recently and have any feedback? Thanks!!

I was on Victory late October on the Lido deck balcony. We had the flat screen tv but not the upgraded bathroom.

I saw a thread recently (in the last few weeks) that said they were on Deck 7 and starting Deck 8.

Yes, I sailed in December. I was in a balcony cabin on Deck 7. The upgraded cabins are absolutely beautiful. I felt like I was on the Breeze. They also have The SeaFood Shack at the aft pool by the pizza. It is delicious. Everything is freshly made.

Sounds good thinking about sailing July for a quick getaway.

We just got our Cabin assignment for our March 6th Cruise and were put on the Lido Deck (9) Does that mean all the upgrades have been done to the lower decks first? Are they going in that order?

They started from the bottom. The latest I've heard is they are done up to deck 7. I'm anxious to hear about deck 8 since we'll be there in 26 days!

Is it worth it to have a room with the upgrades or just stay with 9? My room probably wont have a Mini-Fridge or Flat Screen. Anything else?

Can anyone tell me about hair dryers? They used to have big tube things, are they regular blowdryers in upgraded cabins or the same old? We are sailing on a charter on February 10.

Was on Victory 1/9 in Room 1062 on Panorama deck. The room was not remodeled yet. Still had tube tv, no fridge, glorious pink bathroom. The hairdryer was the big built in wall unit with the tube. I would take this room again in a heartbeat because I love the location, regardless of how nice the new rooms are.

I sail on 2/3 and am pretty sure we'll be getting an upgraded room since we'll have an ocean view on deck 2.

It's still an old clunker.

Thanks for all the input on upgrades, hairdryers and frig. We will be on deck 6 for a Charter on February 10. Seems they are starting from bottom up.

I will be in 7351 on March 3rd. Does anyone know if that room is updated? It's Mid/Aft Starboard side.

Hi everyone! I'm on the Victory right now and did some exploring! They are working on deck 8. Starboard side from all the way forward to 8399 is NOT renovated. They are working from 8399 to aft. On port side they are working on a much bigger section. Most of the entrances that we tried on deck 8 port side were blocked off to construction. Deck 9, 10, and 11 are not renovated.

They are working on the aft section from 8399 back so your room would be included in that section!

We are in a newly renovated room on deck 6. They have new blow dryers. The kind you have to hold the button down to keep it running.

Hi! On the Victory right now. They have a pizzeria, seafood corner, Chopsticks (Chinese Food), Comfort Kitchen (nachos, Mac n cheese, hot dogs, fries, chicken tenders, etc), Off the Grill (burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc.), deli (freshly made ham n cheese, turkey wrap, Reuben, etc), and the big buffet in back (salads, carved roast beef, grilled chicken, desserts, and tons more). Lots to choose from!
