Our ship is in port on a Wednesday (so not "Bull Butting Friday"...*smh*)

Cruise ship operator has zero excursions up despie us being in port 11 hours.

Most everything on Trip Advisor is either dhow cruise and or scuba. Pass.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

If the cruise line does not have any shore excursions available (which is most unusual) I would suggest you google Shore Excursions for Fujariah. There is an East Coast Tour you could take which visits the fort, the oldest mosque and the Friday market and goes along the coast. Are you actually docking at Khor al Fakkan? If so then the Oceania hotel is a great place to visit - free shuttle bus from the port gates and you have access to all the facilities (pool, beach) You can also purchase a ticket which includes an all you can eat buffet lunch - have done this twice and it was a most enjoyable time relaxing in great surroundings.

Good Luck with your plans.

Hi, just clicking here - because we're on the same cruise... :) Since we're docked in Fujairah Port I can't belive there is a free shuttle bus to the Oceanic Resort. We're not docked i Khorfakkan port, or are we

We will be on MSC Fantasia leaving Dubai on 17th Dec arriving at KHOR AL FAKKAN on 21st Dec.2016. I gather you are on and NCL ship

When I did the Emirates cruise on RCL Serenade of the Seas we did dock at Fujairah from where I took the East Coast Tour visiting the fort, the Bidya Mosque and parts of the Hajaar Mountains.

I hope you will be able to ascertain exactly which port you will be arriving at

and it might be worth a telephone call to your TA/Cruise Line for shore excursion options.

Good Luck

Suzanne

We are on NCL.

It's their first stop ever in Fujairah, and the woman I spoke with had no clue as to the port.

Similar issue Singapore apparently.

We're still coming up pretty empty. (Beach scene not really our thing.)

NCL themselves have laid on zero shore excursions.

What we're supposed to do there for 11 hours, I'm not sure.
