On the carnival paradise jr. suite room v25 the balcony has a life boat right in front of it, just how obstructed is this? has anyone stayed in this room?

Anybody know anything about this room?

When you try to book a room such as this, does it (website) or booking agent tell you up front you are booking a room/balcony with an obstructed view? I would be extremely upset if I booked and got this room with such a horrid view. Just curious so when I go to plan my next cruise, I will know if I need to ask or do they let you know up front.

Always have the deck plans in front of you when booking! Most agents aren't looking at the deck plans, just at the list of available cabins. Many haven't ever been on a cruise... Savvy travelers are prepared. EM

Good Morning,

We are sailing on the VISTA out of NYC on 11.5 - booked obstructed view on 7th deck - inside price but window - forward of the ship with the observation deck right outside....not a bad deal....but with a balcony?.....I definitely would not want obstructed.
