Thomson Dream:

Recommended Posts

We are booked onto the Dream in October. Lots of reports re service etc. Our friends are just back and did say service slow, but everything was okay. Advised that some of the bar stuff seemed un-interested in serving, also a lot of the Filipino staff have gone over to the Discover, that is a real shame as so many we have met over the years are so friendly and give great service.

Any reports from people who have been on recently would be appreciated. Also what is the entertainment like? Will the same bands be on-board in October. Love this route.

Hi, we were on from 27th May and found that there were lots of new staff many of whom were quite young and seemed a bit reserved but very pleasant (except for one in the Medusa who did seem uninterested). We did have to wait a bit longer than usual for our drinks. I would think by October they will all have settled in and things will be much better.

Hi we got back yesterday and I don't have any complaints regarding the service, bar staff and restaurant staff were very efficient and pleasant.

On the pool decks they came around often taking orders and offering water or sky juice as they affectionately named it.

We only had a couple of moans and they were not staff related, one was the coffee was terrible and the other was they seemed to be constantly trying to sell things such as speciality restaurants or premium all inclusive. Saying this we had a really enjoyable cruise and the show team were fab.
