Cruisedreamer1 Posted March 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2016 Just booked a cruise that starts in Bali on the Paul Gauguin. I would like to know which airline the PG has used in the past to fly passengers to and from Bali. The cruise line won't say yet. I want to know so that I can change my air if I don't like the airline. If the cruise leaves on a Wednesday, does that mean the company would fly us out on a Monday due to the number of hours to fly there? Thanks. Rare Fletcher Posted March 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2016 I've just looked up this cruise. I've done two big cruises in this part of the world on small ships - smaller even than the PG - and I have to say I'm disappointed with the itinerary. The best places are the Banda Islands in Malaku, the islands off PNG, anywhere in the Solomons like the Morovo Lagoon and the remote islands of Vanuatu. Your ship doesn't reach that far and tends to go for the easy option everywhere.
