venice airport meeting point

We are travelling in two separate groups. Hubby and I will be arriving at San Marco at 11:20 from Brussels airport on Brussels airline and my mom and a friend will be arriving at 11:40 coming from Toronto on air Canada.

Where would be the best place to meet up at the airport? Although none of us will have any checked luggage, I though maybe at baggage claim?

Is there anything better? A coffee shop, perhaps. Goodness knows we will all need a caffeine fix from the overnight flights ( our destination of origin being Montreal).

We arrive in July on a Thursday if that makes any difference and we plan on taking the Alilaguna to our hotel.

It's a very small airport, I don't think there's a coffee shop that will be accessible to you. I would meet at the water taxi desk which is just as you walk out from baggage claim, very easy to find. And actually with four of you, the water taxi is not a bad idea. Just a little more than Alilaguna but a ton nicer and faster, something to think about anyway
