Walkie talkie acceptable on Aida?

Hi, does anyone know the policy for using walkie talkies on Aida?

I'll bring my children on a cruise this winter. My youngest one has high functioning autism, and last time we were onboard a ship, he disappeared while I was paying for some food. Both I and the employees run around like crazy trying to find him. Not funny. So this time, I need to make sure I can reach him if he should wander off again. He needs to be used to the device beforehand, so I would like to start practicing this summer.

He doesn't speak German, and only a few words in English.

My German is pretty rudimental, so I haven't been able to find any guidelines for this.

I couldn`t find anything on the AIDA website regarding the allowance of private walkie talkies on board.

So i would suggest to send an e-mail to the cruise line to exlain them the situation and ask them directly.

The will have no problems if you write them in english.
