I was stuck in the Haven check in line with Cathy and Annie. We'll get a group photo for sure. I will type out the staff in case Harriet's link doesn't work.

I will update today's adventures tomorrow, but I am having an absolute blast and my bedtime tonight is an indication of how nice the casino was to me today :)

Day 2

Harriet came to the Villa to grab her driver's license as she hit a hand pay. Hand pays are anything over $1200, and the reason is they have to give them a W2. Yay Harriet!!

I went down to the Meet and Greet, and met and greeted some people. Lots of staff there and it was really nice. We all headed to the casino to do our slot pull. Each person put in $15 and got 5 pulls. We put my card in it, because I'm Canadian, so wouldn't be taxed if we won a lot :) It was not a great machine, so we ended up cashing out $10. We had a lot of fun for $5 though!

Stayed in the casino and lost more money, and then 6 of us headed back to Cagney's. Some of the girls disliked the menu so much that they don't want to go back, and that's too bad.

I went down to the casino after lunch, to get some money back,and donated even more. I figured that was a sign, so left and came back to the Villa.

I walked into the living room and there were these beautiful decorations that Cathy put out. She had boxed presents for us all, and it was all set up beautifully. I hope to get photos up soon.

Most of us spent the afternoon sitting outside, just yapping. Had a few drinks from our bar, and it was a really fantastic afternoon.

Our dinner wasn't until 9:00 at Teppanyaki, so we went to casino and and I played a bit, then the switch reset. I was dealt three 5's at 3 card poker with $15 on pair plus, so that was $450, then I played QuickHits and got 5 free spins, which is the worst you can get on the bonus. A waiter came by and I was digging out my card and looked up and there were 7 QuickHits on the screen which would normally be $320 but since it was in bonus mode, it was times 2. So that spin got me $600. Got a few more free spins and cashed out at $700.

We went to dinner and it was great. Food was fantastic (too much food) and the show was fun.If I sit still for too long, my rear end hurts (residual from my ass being burned off by new bathtub on Escape) so I needed to move. Went back down to the casino and kept winning. Hit another three 5's on Let it Ride, Won another $400 on QuickHits.

I got to sleep around 3:00 and slept until 11:00. Today is Port Canaveral day, so it's a bit of work, a lot of sun and relaxation.

I'm sure I will be less lucky today, but it's nice to have one good day, even though this whole experience has been worth every penny.

I re-size to 800x600 in ImageSize, save the photo, and then jump into the CruiseCritic app to post the reduced photo.

Thanks for the pics. They are fine on my Samsung phone. I don't remember any of the staff there either, but it's been awhile since I was on the Gem - going again in June. Could you post the casino staff please? Keep winning and enjoying!!

This sounds like a fabulous trip and I only wish I knew about it because myself and 3 other went on a cruise early April and we all have the love of the casino, we could have tried to join you gals.

Continue to have great lick in the casino and enjoying the time together in the garden villa.

Sally, I'm sorry your arse is still giving you a bad time, that is freaking awful.
