LCV discount

I was sent an email indictating that LCV members will get a further 10% discount on select voyages for bookings made before March 31st. This is on top of the current offers ( half price for the 2 nd passenger and free internet for one device, in ocean view cabins and above)

Surprisingly Christmas voyages are included.

I got this email as well but when I pretended to book one of the cruises, I didn't seem to be able to get the half price for the second passenger, unless the price had already been adjusted to show both offers?

The dummy booking I investigated indicates the half price offer and free internet when you choose the cabin category. Nothing about the 10% off, even though I put my LCV number in!

I'm hoping it's for us in UK, as the 'quartly savings' page that the link takes me to has the Canadian flag, which I need to change for U.K. Pricing.

I also cannot get a quote for Quest Christmas/ New Year Voyage, but can for Journey.

A number is given to ring, which I would do anyway if booking!

I've never managed to get the offer price online. I always ring up and speak to someone, that way I can ask questions and be sure of the price and offers

I jut did a dummy booking to compare to the Quest November ta that I booked recently and indeed, the quarterly 10% is in addition to the BOGOHO/free internet offer.

Great, I'll have another look at the transatlantic in November :D

yes, easier to speak to a real person! was just curious to see if both offers worked especially as the link took you to the Canadian site, as you said:confused:

I gave up after the Canadian site came up!

Well here we go again.

Have not had this offer email even though we are just off top tier membership.

email address is geoffkendall at hotmail dot com.

Thanks

I fell off the system recently too. Your status in LCV has no relevance to getting emails. I emailed Nicole Lukacs in Miami and she sorted it out.

Here's a link to the current quarterly offering of voyages eligible for the 10% LCV member savings. This offer applies to LCV members regardless of nationality so it shouldn't matter which flag is showing on the website.

The only restrictions are that one of these voyages must be booked during this quarter (1/1-3/31), and must be a new booking.

Thanks for this Bonnie.

The issue is as "excitedof harpenden" states is how do we drop off the mailing list anway?

I am obviously not the only one and equally how would we know unless it comes up on these boards?

Mine seemed to stem from having more than one profile set up. I don't know how this happened, but you might ask them to check this for you too.

Hello Procter,

I wish I knew how the mailing list can be manually corrected, and then mysteriously no longer be correct at some point in the future. This seems to be an on-going problem, and in my estimation a very unfortunate problem since those of you who enthusiastically 'opt in' to our mailings are the most likely to book a future cruise.

All I can suggest is that you write to our LCV Ambassador Nicole again and ask her to put you back on the email list. LeClubVoyage@AzamaraClubCruises.com

And please accept my apology for the frustration this causes. I am very grateful you do check in on this CC forum so that you can at least learn of the specials here!

Bonnie

Bonnie,

I am an IT manager and I see this all the time. One common way for it to happen is for two people to have copies of the same document and the *second* person who saves the document wipes out the changes the first person made.

Hello, and welcome rpfarris...the problem has been brought up since I've been monitoring this forum (2014) and likely long before. But while it is a continuing problem on the other hand it is not as wide-spread a problem as it may seem. The same individuals repetitively complain that they've been dropped from our mailings, which is understandably a source of frustration for them. So I wonder if there's some algorithm that says if someone EVER opted out of our marketing communications, then they'll be cleaned from every future mailing list? As an IT specialist does this seem feasible to you?

Now please know I am wondering about this from my own 'silo'...I work remotely from California. I do not mean this as a critique of another department undoubtedly doing the best they can with a 'legacy' system.

P&O UK used (and may still do) to have a similar problem with communication boxes on their website mysteriously un checking themselves, the problem seemed to be using a shared IT platform. At the time it was Princess although it's now Cunard, so if you wanted info from P&O but not Princess and unchecked the boxes on their site it unchecked P&O as well.

Azamara might have a similar problem, our latest problem with communication after Nicole had sorted it out started after our email address on the Celebrity site became corrupted. At the moment we receive nothing from RC, Celebrity or Azamara so I'm now going onto all the sites and updating my communication information and see what happens.

Bonnie, as I wrote above the problem (may have) stemmed from more than one profile at some point(s) being set up for me which Nicole at the Miami office uncovered. I'd been taken off the Celebrity mailing list too. The spurious profiles were deleted and now I have just the one and this has sorted out the issue. At least for now!

I too have fallen from the list. Can you share her email address?

Nancy, this is the generic email address:

lcvambassador@leclubvoyage.com

I don't think I should share her own email address as I'm not sure this is something Azamara would want.
