Well, it is a done deal. The wreck is now in dry dock. Just found this site which I wonder WHY, just WHY none of us ever found it before. Lots of info, pictures, updates and videos.

Great link. And the scrambling on "he who shall not be named"'s website is amazing. 1 Aug, "if buoyancy can be re-established, ever" to 25 Aug "buoyancy suddenly re-established" to "they pumped air into the hull to displace the water, why wasn't I told about this?" when this is a common salvage procedure. The guy is totally whacked out.

I don't post a lot now but still keep up with progress.

That part of the bow has been off for a while, I think. The fractured part is still in place, with the blister tanks holding it on.

Thanks, I must have missed the removal pics of the end of the bow.

The bow section looks like it was still in place on aug 18th but

you can see where the lines are for the cuts don't know when they

actually cut the pieces out.

I hope we can still get some pictures from time to time of the

progress in the dry dock.

It is amazing that none of us ever found this link when you think about all the searches we did.

Luis, thank you for all that you have done to keep us informed with links and pictures.

I would be surprised if we get any more information on Concordia now that she is out of the public eye.

Has anyone heard whether the Captain has finally started to serve his sentence? Last I heard he was still in appeals.

If you mean the last one Luis posted it's still working. Might have been a temp interruption with site when you looked. Try it again.

The page is still there. The one that didn't come back was the webcam at the http://www.partridge.it web site. The site itself is up but not the camera. Not sure if the dry dock is visible from that location.
