joe grumble Posted September 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2016 hi everyone. this november we are on the britannia flying from manchester to barbados. this is our first fly/cruise and i was wondering about checking in at the airport. do you check bags in as you would on an ordinary flight and then just proceed through security or do P and O have staff that direct you around until you are at the departure gate. i am aware of the procedure once we arrive in barbados.thanks
cruisebore Posted September 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2016 P&O have people to meet you as you check in to confirm that you are not suffering from any diseases (Norovirus) from then on you are on your own until the aircraft lands in Barbados
ChrisPBacon Posted September 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2016 The good thing is that once you check your bags in, the next time you see them is outside your cabin. You get off the plane in Barbados, straight onto a coach and off to the ship. Similar on your return. You put them outside your cabin the night before, and you collect them in Manchester. No checking them in, in Barbados. Other than that, as cruisebore says, it's the same as any other flight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
