Nautica on the Kiel Canal

We are going on the Nautical on its July 7 departure from Southampton and will be going along the Kiel Canal. Any specific recommendations from anyone on what to look for during that portion of the trip?

Just sit back & watch the world go by ;)

The local people come out & wave as the ship passes

there are little ferries that take cars & people across the river if you can get a glimpse

The Kiel is basically a calm pleasant sea, think River, day through some unimpressive country- side. Som get a big kick out of seeing the locals wave at the ship.

Here a few more from a somewhat foggy transit. Most people enjoyed high tea while going through the canal.

The pictures are definitely blue and black, and the cat is going up the stairs.

Thank you very much for the Photos of the Canal.

My OH very much wants to sail this Canal (to add to his list of Canal "passages"), so he was most interested to see these pics. The canal is much wider than he expected. Maybe one day we will sail this one. Thanks again.
