Oasis of the Sea

We've never stayed in a Boardwalk location stateroom, but I can say that the further back you are on the ship, the closer you are to the Aqua Theater to be able to see that show from your balcony. That would also put you closer to the ocean views behind the ship. Where you are is roughly center to the Boardwalk and just about over the Carousel. So those views would not be as close.

The Boardwalk is a lively location with lots of activity to watch. You also need to be aware that there are staterooms across from you so keep your blinds closed at night and when dressing. You also are only a few decks below the zip line, so you can have fun watching those passengers who ride that.

The staterooms in the Boardwalk area are not as private or as quiet (during the day and early evening) as an ocean view balcony would be and lack the ocean view. But they are a unique location with interesting views of the activities there. Friends of ours stay there whenever they are on an Oasis class ship and love it, but their location of preference is at the aft end further back. The best way to find out how it is is to try it.

Enjoy your cruise.
