Dress Code for Embarkation

About to join my first cruise on Equinox from Miami. I am in Concierge class, would there be any issues wearings shorts and T shirt for embarkation and Concierge lunch in MDR.

Shorts are ok for breakfast and lunch, even for the Concierge lunch, as far as I know. You should be fine.

No problem.

Your shorts and (clean) tee shirt will be just fine for boarding the ship and having lunch in the dining room.

I have seen adult men and women board the ship still wearing pajama bottoms and a wrinkled tee shirt. Yes, that was on Celebrity - not Carnival! I am sure they went to the Oceanview for lunch.

Shorts and a tee shirt are fine for embarkation. That's what DH wore on Eclipse our last cruise and he was fine at the concierge luncheon in the MDR on embarkation day.

Not a problem on embarkation. Just like others who wear the same this season in Miami.

I wear my swimsuit under my shorts, so I don't have to find a place to change before cabins are ready!

Some modern patterned trousers look very similar to pyjama bottoms. Not saying it's the case in this instance, but if they were worn for boarding as stated, it could be quite possible.
