Hello, wondering which deck the main check in is for the Santuary??? Thanks!

when we were on Coral in 2013, you entered through the fitness center on the Lido deck.

Could you explain what The Sanctuary is, and why it costs money?

The Sanctuary is an area of the ship with very comfortable lounge chairs and personnel to bring you food and/or drinks. The area is appealing to many because of the better lounge chairs and it much less crowded than the rest of the ship. For this extra space, comfort, and service you must pay.

If you want to use the space you need to go there as soon as you can after boarding ship to make a reservation and select a lounge chair location.

Do you know how much extra this area would cost? Is it a daily charge or do you reserve for the entire cruise? Is the area enclosed? Would it be worth it to reserve this area on an Alaskan cruise? We're heading NB next June.

Attendants bring you blankets if it's cold, iced towels if it's hot. A fabulous afternoon tea (free) is served right at the loungers at about 3:30pm. Cost is $20/pp half day, $40/pp full day, $30/pp if you book for the whole cruise.
