Crown Laundry

This will be my second cruise with Princess and I'm thrilled to learn there are washers and driers on board. Do they require tokens or should we bring quarters?

I think the Crown now takes your cruise card. Best thing is to check early in the cruise. That way you can get enough quarters or tokes if needed.

We were on the Crown in September. My daughter reported that:

1. You use your cruise card in the laundry room to buy tokens

2. You will be charged $3.00 for a token

3. For a token, you can get one wash or one dry. So, $6.00 total for one load.

4. I asked if the "one token equals one dry" actually got the clothes dry, and she said yes.

Further posts in that earlier thread stated that if you need laundry soap, you use tokens to buy that, too. It was $1.50 per load. Might want to bring a couple "pods" and fabric softener sheets from home.

Great typo....didn't know that was offered in the laundry room. 😜😜
