Gulf Freeway section of :) I45 South of Houston 10 lanes between Beltway 8 and NASA RD One is COMPLETE.

Thanks for the update. We will need to drive from Dallas to Galveston on a Sat morning in Jan. Construction has me worried.

Instead, alternate southbound lanes will be closed throughout the weekend between Scarsdale and Fuqua, so drivers may still want to plan for extra traffic.

You're right. It looks good so far. Went from Galleria area to Galveston yesterday and didn't go slower than 75 after the Beltway.

Yesterday son drove at 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon galveston to Houston Galleria full speed limit all the way .

We are cruising our of Galveston on July 2nd, however we are flying into Bush on June 30th and going as far as the Marriott Courtyard by NASA on Saturn LN. should we expect any delays or problems. Our directions coming out of Bush and Dollar Car Rental is unto JFK BLVD, to 8 Beltway and Merge unto I 69 South/US 59, then merge unto 45 S
