Sea Our world Posted June 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2017 Planning a cruise from the Los Angeles area to Baja Mexico in December. I will spend a lot of time on deck watching the ocean views. Is it windy & cold during that time of year sailing on the ocean in Baja Mexico? Should I pack a heavy coat, scarf and gloves for outdoor ocean watching? Clarea Posted June 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2017 Welcome to Cruise Critic. The weather you described is what we experienced on a January Baja cruise from LA.
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 27, 2017 You are best to pack a jacket, scarf and gloves. Weather can be variable but better to be prepared for cooler weather that time of year. Keith
SadieN Posted June 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2017 How sensitive are you to cold? During the day you won't need heavy coats etc. We always bring a cardigan and a hoodie. At times we've had to layer when watching the night time movies on deck. Every ship we've been on has had blankets and/or towels.
