Paradise to Cuba

It will be interesting to see what happens Friday when the President is suppose to make a decision on going there.

 

If he chooses to ban going there. the cruise lines that do go there will have to credit a lot of credit cards where people have already signed up for the excursions. Then they'll have to figure out another port to stop at and line up excursions.

There are a few threads in the Cuba forum (under Caribbean ports) and it's really interesting to see others' insights into it. I will be pretty upset and probably pull out of the cruise altogether if I can.

Looks like ships can still sail to Cuba.

But current itineraries and visits to Havana are regulated to stay with a certain area of Havana and the "tours" are GAESA or some kindred government sponsored company. If that's banned then who controls the tourism excursions.
