03 TSS Mardi Gras and Veracruz I at Cozumel.jpg

Noticed the Veracruz 1 docked alongside the Mardi Gras in this picture.  I was on the Veracruz in 1982 and the Mardi Gras in 1984.  While on the Veracruz, I remember when we docked in Cozumel beside Mardi Gras.  I remember thing how huge the Mardi Gras seemed...even though she was only 27,000 tons.  However, the Veracruz was only 10,000 tons.
