Fall cruise. The alcohol package is $110/day per person, and they're offering it for 25% off right now ($82/day/person). That's still outrageous and more than Carnival, Princess, etc. Should I wait? Will it possibly get a better discount before the cruise? Not sure what the normal promos are for this. Thanks!

I cruised a lot as a kid, all lines but mostly Carnival and RC of course, and want my kids to have a great time. Sun Princess is on the table for us and my only real hesitation is that they don't have water slides and it's a more mature less-party cruise line. I know it's a brand new ship so people can't say for certain what the experience will be, but would you expect a fall break (October) cruise on the Sun Princess to give our tweens a really super fun vacation? Thanks!

Looking at Mariner this fall, and concerned that people complain in many/most reviews that the ship will nickel and dime you into oblivion. We'll have two tweens with us (10 and 13), what sort of expenses would we be looking at? I know the beverage charges, and wifi, and obviously excursions, what else? Are there experiences that cost money onboard? I'd love information and details on this. Thanks!

We're traveling with our kids, and booking 1 adult and 1 kid per room but planning on letting the kids have one room (ages 12 and 14, they are great and trustworthy and if we say "don't leave the room without us", they won't). But because Princess isn't keen on connecting rooms, we're booking two rooms next to each other and we'll all need access to both rooms. Can they do that with the Medallions? I've never cruised Princess (and haven't cruised at all in a decade) so I'm not up on the new technology, Thanks!
