Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I hear ya but it sounded a little heavy handed for a reschedule. I get a sense they’re buttering us up for something
  2. yes. This is what I got Summer: The Donna Summer Musical” Cancelation Dear Valued Guest, We have important information regarding your reservations for “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical” for your upcoming sailing aboard Norwegian Prima on April 16, 2024. Due to a scheduling conflict, the performance date for “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical” has changed. Consequently, your reservation for “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical” on April 18, 2024, cannot be accommodated and will automatically rescheduled, once on board. No further action is required.
  3. I just received an email that the Donna Summer show is cancelled and will be rescheduled on my upcoming April 16 cruise. Did anyone else get this?
  4. LOL Guess so! I’d stay on board the whole time if I didn’t get pressure from travelmates to get off. For me, ship IS the destination
  5. Sure, but smaller ships is really a no go in today’s market, I’m trying the prima bc I’m loyal and hopefully it’s good.. hoping they drop the race tracks and go bigger after aqua.. this is a travesty man..
  6. I ended up just paying full price… this may be my last NCL cruise with the new prices and cruising environment until and if sanity ever returns to the market…I’m looking forward to seeing the prima but MAN, oh man, NCL really miscalculated the market by going smaller at a really bad time
  7. If I pay for a straight upgrade from an inside to a guarantee balcony, can I then pay the higher fare to get an assigned balcony if I don’t like what I was assigned? or is there a limit on how many times or categories that you can “pay up” on your fare changes?
  8. Oh— yes I know that. By first I didn’t mean absolute first, I just meant: as first as possible given the other priority groups 🙂 sorry bout that
  9. I dunno why NCL has to get clearance from my agent. Maybe because this involves money and it goes thru the agent? anyway good news is my agent has already heard back from NCL and my voucher is being applied as an overpayment which will be refunded in cash
  10. Oh here we go. The Cruise Critic tough love brigade strikes again. as it turns out, we’ve already heard from the CNC dept. apparently this orphan credit was left over from peace of mind COVID booking and then transferred within family (to me) and that’s why there were issues around using it. CNC got back to me personally this morning to let me know they will apply it if the agent emails them. So in response to your tough love, I say: So there, buddy. So there.
  11. It kind of sucks that they don’t have a last minute upgrade list any more. I was on the Escape not too long ago, and they were taking names for flat rate upgrades there. does anyone know if there was an actual policy change forbidding ships to accept requests for on board upgrades? Or is it just a numbers thing because so many ships are full these days?
  12. Thanks all. How do they handle families where one person in a room is not plat? Send you all to the back of the line or is there any discretion there?
